I’ve never been to NYC, but I have relatives near DC. Over christmas break, we visited the pentagon memorial. It was very moving.

About the memorial:

184 people died at the pentagon that day.  There is a bench for each and every one of them. There’s a name on every bench.

I’ve heard that every generation has their defining moment in history. For example, Pearl Harbor, or the JFK assassination. This is certainly my generation’s.

I was in 8th grade. Trust me, I will never forget.
